All nominees will have the opportunity to further showcase their organizational impact using our region’s newest Impact Measurement Tool created with our partners at Ecotone Analytics based on globally recognized frameworks and Sustainable Development Goals Metrics.
Our team will use this information to better understand and communicate the value of social enterprise in our region and further support your organization. Every nominee will receive a personalized Impact Measurement Baseline Report to assess their own organizational metrics as it relates to Global Measurement Frameworks such as the Impact Management Project, Sustainable Development Goal Metrics, and the Inclusive Economy Indicators.

What is impact measurement and why does it matter?
Impact is a change in an outcome caused by an organization. Most organizations, companies, or investments have an impact that is positive and negative, intended and unintended. By understanding your own organizations impact enterprises can identify which effects matter and assess the performance of those effects.
Impact management is the ongoing practice of measuring, assessing and improving impacts on sustainability issues. It is relevant for enterprises and investors who want to manage environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks, as well as those who also want to contribute positively to global goals.
What is the impact baseline assessment tool?
This Baseline Tool is the first of its kind in our region focused on combining regional and globally recognized standards for measuring impact. We have worked with our partners at Ecotone Analytics to create an easy to use tool that will assist you in seeing where your organization lands in relation to others in our region and help you align your impact with global standards. By filling out this impact measurement form, you will also contribute to the greater understanding of the impact that social enterprises have in our region.

Impact Baseline Tool FAQs
where will my information be stored and shared?
SE MSP and Ecotone Analytics do not sell or make available specific information about our customers or their clients. We maintain a database of user information which is used only for internal purposes such as technical support, marketing-related activities, and to notify customers of changes or enhancements to the services. EA and SE-MSP will only process Data for the sole purpose of providing the software and services. EA and SE-MSP will never transfer Data to a third-party without the written permission of the customer.
Additionally, individual organizational data will only be shared internally and shared with the organization in the Impact Baseline Report. No information will be publicly displayed or shared unless permission is granted by the organization prior to.
Information that will be shared, will be combined and gathered from all organizations for regional assessments and comparison only.
Who should fill out the form? How long will it take?
Anyone from the organization or Board of Directors can fill out the form. However, the CEO, Founder or Executive Director will likely have access to most of the general information needed to fill out the form quickly and accurately. The form shouldn’t take longer than 40 - 60 minutes to fill out. The form will save so you can come back at any point in the process and continue before submission.
What happens after I fill out the form?
Every nominee who fills out the form will receive a personalized Impact Measurement Baseline Report to assess their own organizational metrics as it relates to Global Measurement Frameworks such as the Impact Management Project, Sustainable Development Goal Metrics, and the Inclusive Economy Indicators. The value of the report will depend upon how much of the form you are able to fill out accurately and completely. Individual Reports will be given out one month prior to the celebratory event. Selected nominees will be given the opportunity to do a deeper impact assessment with Ecotone Analytics and will be featured at the Spring Showcase in 2021.
2021 Spring Event Recognition
Each year our panel of judges select 4 - 5 social enterprises whose stories exemplify extraordinary impact on our community. These featured organizations will have an opportunity to work with our media team on a behind-the-scenes video story feature of their organization and its impact to be revealed at the Showcase event. These selected organizations will also receive a deeper case study opportunity to dive into their organizational impact with Ecotone. See case studies here.
All nominees, regardless of whether or not you are selected for a feature, will be recognized for their outstanding work at the event and featured on the 2020 Impact List.
